Every generation inherits institutions built by those who came before. Some endure for centuries. Others slowly drift from the missions that inspired their creation. The difference is rarely chance. Durable institutions are built through thoughtful governance, principled leadership, and an unwavering commitment to mission.

 

Throughout my career, I’ve served nonprofit organizations, colleges, universities, and affiliated foundations across the United States. That work has reinforced a simple conviction. Institutions that endure are those that continue to adapt without losing sight of why they were created.
